I posted the question on Fast Company Polls....
Do you have the capability (hardware, software, and knowledge) to learn from a podcast?
And 90% of the people that responded said yes. That is encouraging considering the cost of owning hardware to view podcasts, the knowledge involved in accessing podcasts, and the time involved.
10% of the posters responded they would not want to learn via a podcast. It would be beneficial to know the particular reasons why learning via a video online is not ideal.

I do not remember your exact questions but did you differentiate between viewing via computer vs viewing via mp3 player? Some people think they need an iPod to view or listent to a podcast - that is what makes it portable - but it is not essential.
Everyone in your data sampling has a computer - hardware
Does everyone in your data sampling also have an iPod?
Are you sure that this particular question posed to this particular data sampling of people is reflective of "the world?"
I do believe someone in the group (I think Denise) was suggesting that download instructions for iTunes be made available so that everyone can have access to the podcasts/vodcasts. It would be interesting to know if this is one of the reasons for that 10% response in your survey.
